The MLU Championship 4v4 is the first tournament to be offered by MLU Play, the arm of the MLU dedicated to creating more playing opportunities at all levels. The tournament is focused on providing a fun and welcoming atmosphere that will introduce new players to the game while also providing a challenging competitive experience to those more seasoned athletes.
Games will be played on small fields (35 x 25 yds, 8 yd endzones). Each team will have 10 players and have 3 men and 1 woman on the field at a time. Rounds are 30 minutes. Two 12 minute halves with a 4 minute halftime, with 2 minutes time between rounds. Each team gets a minimum of 5 games. Format is pool play to bracket. Ties are allowed in pool play. Bracket games will go to sudden death if games are tied at the end of regulation. Showers provided on site for people to change after tournament. The tournament is 5 miles away from the Championship Game at PPL Park.
$30 entry gives you championship ticket, pays player fee, gives access to special area of tailgating at PPL Park with beer, games, etc.
